web stuff: logos and more

not home logo

Not Home

This logo was done for a big fan of Cold War imagery. Starting from a scanned bomb shelter sign, we came up with this as the image to base his (now defunct) site around.

freelance drafting and design logo

Freelance Drafting and Design

Fun in Photoshop! I wrapped text in a font I went back and tweaked around an image I could hardly identify. (It's a pulley for one's mountain bike). Joe Rajewski isn't currently using it on his site, but it's a nice two-color logo anyway.

{fog} logo

{FoG}

This is an example of the visual feel of a site I designed for an independent Starsiege: Tribes tribe. (The tagline is "History is a question of survival.")

the official dead cat revolutionary army logo

The Official Dead Cat Revolutionary Army

After TODCRA got hosted by Danger University, they wanted a more professional look. I was asked to use Verdana... and with a bit of humor, it worked out nicely.

mr/miss shack of blues images

Shack of Blues

Scott Piazza has (had? been out of touch for a few years) a wonderful music site, Shack of Blues. When he started a monthly contest to honor visitors, I offered up these graphics. I believe he uses the badges (bottom).

srw handling logo

SRW Handling

Stephen Wendzel's company had a rough logo when I picked up their site design. This is simply a more streamlined, European-looking take on it.

print work

rosie ring-around business card

Rosie Ring-Around and Petunia

It goes with their other promotional materials and not-yet-live website. Like their clowning work, it's bright, colorful, and cheerful.

latinas unidas t-shirt

Latinas Unidas t-shirt

I submitted this design to the group sponsor at Mary Baldwin College in spring 1999. I am unsure if it was produced. The slogan on the back reads: "Latinas Unidas / Hermanas del corzaon... y de cultura!" ["Latinas United / Sisters of a heart... and of culture!"]

the martyr saint virgin jia business card

The Martyr Saint Virgin Jia

You'd have to know Jia Li to understand this. I really can't describe any of it, but I have her sketch on an index card in my papers somewhere.
